"Make Love" the Heart of the
Spirituality-Sexuality Movement. Gathering the energies of those who are working for a more loving and integrative understanding of our sexual and spiritual energies can help spread the work. The Resources and National Calendar of Eevents that we plan will help. Local Networks Having the opportunity to create local places where those interested in exploring the sexuality-spirituality connection helps. One such model in the Boston area, and we would like to highlight it as a model. If you are involved in a local network, please let us know so that we can list it. http://boston.sexspirit.net. This group, started in 2002 by Linda Marks, is a great model. From their website: Who We Are: A group of people in the Boston area interested in exploring connections between sexuality and spirituality. We welcome people of all spiritual paths, sexual orientations, and genders to be present in our group. We share a dream of creating community where integration of sex and spirit is possible. This means that we must reconnect with both our bodies and our spirits. Reconnection and sharing can only happen in safe space.
What We Do: We meet once a month to learn, dialogue, and exchange resources. We work to create a safe space where we can learn from each other, share stories, and build community. Currently each of our monthly meetings explores a particular topic. Topics we've discussed so far include gender, touch, relationships, and sexual energy.

Editor's NOTE: One of the beauties of this organization is it allow people to explore close to home, at a minimal cost ($10 for most events), and with entry level explorations.
