Back in the early 1960s finding a book about sex was very difficult...even sexual education books. In 1966 Masters and Johnson's groundbreaking book, Human Sexual Response, was published. It was based on their research. Some of us might say the research was flawed. Yet it was a start. The Joy of Sex with its great graphics was a huge seller. It has been revised many times, but the original version was in the 70s. Margot Anand's The Art of Sexual Ecstasy: The Path of Sacred Sexuality for Western Lovers was another breakthrough book and one of the first to address the spiritual component. The books that we feature here will have a spirituality and sexuality integration component.
